Besides putting together The Time, Dez Dickerson and the Modernaires, The Family
(featuring his ex-girl friend), Vanity 6, Apollonia 6 and fostering the
solo musical careers of both Sheila E. and Carmen Electra - during his
prime heyday during the 80's Prince also helped put together, with a
healthy dose of support from his own Bassist Brown Mark, a
Glam-Funk-Rock band called Mazarati.

Unfortunately the group only released one album and broke up not long afterward, even though they were on Prince's own Paisley Park label.
