After Living Colour originally separated in 1995 following the release of their third CD Stain, lead vocalist Corey Glover embarked on a solo career releasing the CD Hymns in 1998 with the single "Do You First and DO Myself".
Even though the first single was fairly hard hitting, it's wasn't really a good example of the CD on the whole which was much soft and filled with more R&B flourishes such as the song "April Rain".
In 2000 Living Colour reformed and has since released two more CD's "Collideøscope" in 2003 and "The Chair in the Doorway" in 2009.
Since 2010 Corey has been singling live with the Big Braas/Jazz/R&B group Galactic. Here he is live doing a cover of Band of Gypsie "You Don't Know"
in 2011 Corey turned to Pledgemusic to have fans help him generate funds to finally produce a follow up to Hymns.
